Smiles Change Lives
For every goal that Mats Zuccarello scores in the playoffs this year, Dr. Eva Maestre and Dr. Rob Peracchia will donate their services to kids in need of dental care!
Dr. Eva and Dr. Rob have teamed up with the charity “Smiles Change Lives” who promote increased self-esteem and improved oral health for children in need of orthodontic treatment whose families cannot afford the full cost of braces.
Smiles Change Lives connects caring orthodontic providers with qualified children in need of braces. However, not enough children and families are applying in the New York City area. There are more practices, like Central Park West Orthodontics, that have offered to donate their time and provide care. This is also true in other cities across the US and Canada. If you know of a family that might be interested in this program, please share this link with them by email or on social media.
Dr. Eva and Dr. Rob are a husband and wife team (even though their last names don’t show it) and are huge New York Rangers fans and season ticket holders!. They wanted to give back to the community and do something fun and came up with a wacky idea to tie it to the success of the New York Rangers in this year’s NHL playoffs.
Let’s Go Rangers!
For every goal that Mats Zuccarello scores during the 2016 NHL Playoffs, they will donate braces and general dental care to a child in need with a total value of $10,000 per child.
Dr. Eva and Dr. Rob have 3 boys of their own and love to cheer on fan favorite Mats Zuccarello who has had a banner season scoring 26 goals in the regular season. If the Rangers go deep and Mats lights up the scoreboard, lots of kids will get braces!
